Union Army EagleIf they are not civil war they are from the time period immediately following the conclusion prior to 1900. The note was written by a ladies initials as can be seen C. B. The note indicates that these were given to her in the Minneapolis area by her soldier on August 18th 1900. Minnehaha falls and Fort Snelling are located near the Minneapolis St. Paul airport. The walk would have been about 2 to 2.5 miles. It is a scenic walk back then that would wind through the trees along Minnehaha creek. What a time period this must have been.
