Features: A pair of colorful & lovely hand embroidered silk panels, made in Hong Kong at the Chi Wen Silk Weaving Co. The company was established in 1932.

Subjects are birds in blossoming peony trees. Embroidery signed upper left on both. Silk is ivory-colored.

These silk panels have been carefully taken out of their non-archival mats & frames and will be shipped in a protective tube. We guess vintage age due to coloration of the paper mat that surrounded them, and older framing materials.

We will ship with their original paper ID labels.

Size: Each panel 8.5\" x 11.5\"

Condition: On outer edges are 8 spots of glue/paper where panel was adhered underneath the mats. Original folds from export. Tiny holes at outermost edges (from the embroidery frame/hoop?) Light discoloration seen most clearly on the back of the right-hand image. A few faint spots on this piece as well.
