Two Vintage Vanguard Thermosonic Heat Detector Fire Alarms V-50 FT w/ Instructions, Mounts and Keys
There are two detectors with mounting hardware and winding keys plus an owners manual in this lot.
These old wind-up detectors are from the 70’s. They are marked “Vanguard Thermosonic, Model V-50 FT. - Heat Detector Alarm”. And “Scientifically Engineered for Fire Warning”. No batteries or electrical connections. They go off if the temperature goes up too fast or reaches 138 degrees.
About 6 ¾” in diameter. Detectors are in very good condition. There are a couple of small chips in the finish. Tested manually they work fine. Bell is loud!!!! Instructions are in good condition. Mounts and keys are excellent.
