Fresh Estate find

I pick up several WW1 Imperial German itemsat an estate sale this week-end. This sale is for two Gold-toned buttons.I have been told that they are gold-toned WW1 Imperial German Naval/KaiserMarine buttons. These buttons are approx. 1” in diameter. The larger size whichran down the front center of the sailor’s tunic. The rear of the buttons aremarked “Berger Collani & co, Berlin. I have been told that these buttonsare rare (there was a lot more soldiers then sailors- there was only about 100,000sailors).
