DESCRIPTION:
This listing is for a lovely antique bisque head German girl doll. Incised on the back of her bisque head is \"Heubach Koppelsdorf, 250-0-1/2, Germany\". Reference attributes this girl to Ernst Heubach, 1910+Koppelsdorf,Germany. She measures 20\" tall beinga bisque socket head with composition wood jointed body. Doll has all her fingers and toes intact,. She isstrung fine and displays well. Doll shows some overall wear, scuffs, paint loss for being 100 or so years old but together intact, a good German body. A Great \"expressive\" face, she has open and close brown glass sleepy eyes that work fine, retains wax on eye lids, painted lashes around the eyes, brush stroked brown brows, open mouth with upper teeth, there is a faint little dimple in the chin and rose color blush on the cheeks. Paint \"rubs\" on the left cheek. I flashed inside this bisque head and do not see any cracks or hairlines. Wears a charming blonde human hair wig that is glued on a pate that goes over her head. I believe a vintage wig but not antique like the doll. Doll wears antique Turn of the Century cream color dress with buttons down the back, there is a lovely full slip, pantaloons, stockings and cream color shoes with little pom poms on the front, I believe these are hand crafted shoes. I have taken plenty of photos. Please look at my photos they will serve as part of this description. Doll does not come with stand. This is a lovely \"old\" German doll for collection or display!
