This circa 1890\'s antique doll is marked made in Germany 2015 and the number 4 meaning 20\" in height. Her mold number is 2015 which was very challenging to identify, not a lot of dolls with this mold number are around.In fact most likely she is the Dolly face doll model 2015 bisque head made by Armand Marseille for Bergman as 2015 is one of the AM mold numbers--OR a similar doll has the same mold number with Wolfe as the American doll maker.
She has aturned headshoulder head made of bisque with pretty skin tone, one minor cheek rub. Beautiful cornflower blue eyes, original eye wax very nicely intact. She has a nice kid leather early lady Fashion type body with bisque white porcelain forearms and cloth lower legs. No issues on bisque hands. One lower leg has turned a bit inward due to typical settling of sawdust or cork stuffing. She is a nice display size doll that presents as a lady with her outfit.
She is wearing new vintage black shoes and her antique black stocking socks. The body isin excellent condition for the age, see photos, she also has her original pate though it was attached a bit crookedly (which doesn\'t affect wig fit at all).
She is wearing an antique Victorian lady\'s dress of red satin under black lace which is fragile in some places, she wore this dress when I got her from an estate sale several years ago. The lace could be gently mended with some black thread by buyer if wanted. She is wearing a Brand New made in Paris Bravot Mohair wig in longer curled style pulled back with a fancy braided bun and curled/ wavy bangs. It\'s a hard to find true dark blonde, it is GORGEOUS on her and works with her skin tone and eye color. See photos in afternoon light.
She has a very pretty antique eyelet half slip. All topped off with a pretty antique red straw hat with black ribbon trim and antique red glass hat pin. The hat is not perfect but is a vintage/antique hat and as expected has some loss on edges, see pic.

Here is some info from doll reference regarding this lovely turned head girl:Charles M. Bergmannoperated a doll company in Waltershausen, Thuringia, Germany. By 1909 he added a factory in Friedrichroda, Germany, until they went bankrupt in 1931.Bergmann dolls came in sizes from 13\" to 34\" tall, with composition ball jointed bodies and a bisque socket head or bisque shoulder head and kid body, supplied from other manufacturers;Armand Marseilles, ABG -Alt, Beck & Gottschalck,William Gobel,Simon & Halbigand maybeothers. ABG is also known for gorgeous turned shoulder head dolls as well but the mold number is not an ABG doll number.
