DESCRIPTION:
For your consideration here is a lovely bisque head Germandoll dressed as Gypsy.Incised on the back of herbisque head is \"370 AM-0-1/2 DEP,Armand Marseille, Made in Germany\".Reference attributes to German maker Armand Marseille, 1880s to 1930. DEP is a registered claim or trade mark used by both the French and Germans. I do not know her past history but will try to describe this doll with any flaws the best I can.Measures 20\" tall being a antique bisque shoulder head,replacement new leather body, porcelain hands with fingers intact, gusset at the elbows and knees. Body is a good fit for this shoulder head. I see no cracks on this bisque shoulder head. She has a \"sweet\" dolly facewith \"fixed\" open brown glass eyes, painted lashes around the eyes, thick brushed brows, she has open mouth with upper teeth and wonderful blush on the face. There is a little dimple in her chin.Her replacement vintage brunette wig with locks of curls in a up-style, secure on her head. I did not remove her wig since her eyes have been fixed to remain open. I notice a hint of red color in the corner of her eyes, possibly someone made her eyes to look like this to match the red in her outfit, I do not know her past history but eyes show a little red. Clothing is lovely, a blue skirt with snap at the waist, silk blouse with buttons and snaps, two slips, pantaloons, stockings, red boots and red Gypsy scarf on head. I have taken plenty of photos.
