This is a beautiful, uncirculated proof Great Horned Owl 50 Cent ($0.50) coin from 2000.
The great horned owl is one of the most easily recognized nocturnal birds of prey with it\'s large yellow eyes and \"horns\".
It is the second largest of Canada\'s tufted owls, next to the Snowy Owl.
The great horned owl\'s feather are ultra soft which allow for a noiselessly flight. It can descend on it\'s prey undetected.
Rather then building it\'s own nest it prefers to occupy abandoned homes of other birds.The weight of this coin is 9.3 grams andcontains 0.925 Silver & 0.075 Copper.Combined Shipping
