There are not a lot of women who made it big in the Rock & Roll era but certainly Janis Joplin was one of them. She had a powerful voice and one that you kind of had to get use to but once you did you realized how talented she was. It\'s really sad that she fell victim to the Drug Scene that overtook so many young people back then and even today as well. This card actually has a piece of the dress she wore on her last album called PEARL. What a treasure knowing that this was actually on her at one point of history. This colorful card smacks of that MOD era when color was such a prominent feature in the dress of young people. I should know, I was one of the young people during that time and I had my share of brightly colored clothes. Also shows Janis in her classic pose leting out as Neil Diamond would say that \"Beautiful Noise\". No one ever like her has come along and probably there never will be. She was unique and irreplaceable. Missed by MANY I\'m sure!!!
