First in the Flowers of Canada series 2002-2007

This 2002 50 cent Tulip coin is a beautifully struck silver 50 cent coin with a flowing image of a tulip on the reverse. The date is on the reverse and is written in a less traditional cursive style.

This coin is minted in sterling silver and is 27.13 mm in diameter and weighs 9.3 grams. The reverse shows a beautiful gold plated image of a tulip in proof finish.The obverse of the coin carries the proof finish image of the Queen (by Dora de Pedery-Hunt) against a mirror background. The comes encapsulated in an airtight capsule which is then set into a green leather, flock-lined case. There is a coloured cardboard sleeve surrounding the case. Inside the case is also found a uniquely numbered certificate of authenticity. PERFECT CONDITION.....MINT FRESH!!!!!
