This is a very special generation for the Targa. Porsche finally figured out how to create a version that offered the entire roof open to the world without altering the iconic 911 silhouette. In this 996 generation Porsche\'s design remains in-tune with one of the most celebrated automotive icons ever, but the sheetmetal is a super-slipper design that reflects the significant gain in performance over the decades. You can see it quite clearly thanks to the Arctic Silver Metallic paint that still remains quite nice today a testament to both this car\'s level of care and premium German quality. In fact, this one appears stock on the outside right down to the 18-inch factory alloys. There is a surprise hidden up front, but we\'ll get to that in a moment.
German cars are some of the best at ergonomics, and the 996 proves it the moment you sit in the contoured black leather bucket seats. Thoroughly modern, comfortable enough to drive every day, and still aimed at enthusiastic drivers, it\'s everything you\'d expect from one of the world\'s most storied marques. The three-spoke sports steering wheel gives a clear view to the full gauge package (the tach is the most prominent piece in these competition-inspired Porsches.) As expected from a premium Porsche, this one comes loaded. It includes features like power seats, power windows, power locks, keyless entry, cruise control, power steering, and ice-cold air conditioning. A modern classic also means modern safety features such as dual front air bags, side air bags, and ABS. This one has been upgraded to a Kenwood AM/FM/CD subwoofer stereo with aux inputs and Bluetooth, so you can plug in all the best modern equipment to this thumpin\' system. Plus, you might have noticed the radar detector mounted discreetly in the front of the car, and the readouts are also subtly mounted in the interior for true stealthy cruising.
The original 3.6-liter is a great companion for the road. Tuned to make 315 horsepower, its distinctive boxer motor sound and performance exhaust will have you downshifting the Tiptronic five-speed automatic under every overpass. This engine fires up easily, which is another hallmark of German precision and another sign of all the right care (we have plenty of maintenance receipts to prove it, too.) The feeling on the road is an experience you\'ll love thanks to Porsche\'s fully independent sports suspension. Add in four-wheel vented disc brakes and Bridgestone Potenza tires, and this is a truly an unbeatable package.

Vehicle may be sold by Streetside Classic Cars prior to the end of the sale. Streetside Classic Cars reserves the right to end its sales early or to cancel offers solely at its discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.
The winning buyer is required to contact Streetside Classic Cars within 24 hours after the close of the sale to finalize the details of the transaction.
A $500 Paypal deposit is required immediately upon selecting the Buy-It-Now option. The $500 Paypal deposit is non-refundable as ending an sale and not buying the vehicle is very damaging to the seller. Any refunds will be at the sole discretion of Streetside Classic Cars and are not guaranteed.
If winning buyer does not contact Streetside Classic Cars and submit deposit within 48 hours of sale close, vehicle may be made available to the next highest buyer or another qualified buyer on a first come, first serve basis.
For balance of payment we will accept bank wire transfer (preferred), cashier’s check, or personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears).
Streetside Classic Cars has represented this vehicle to the best of its ability. Prospective buyers are encouraged to contact us directly to provide additional information or answer any questions.
Please be aware that all pre-owned vehicles, regardless of age, mileage, or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Third party inspections are to take place prior to a vehicles shipment or delivery.

If you decide to purchase from us, we require that you give us your complete name, address and phone numbers (home, office, mobile and fax) and a port of entry that handles containers. We do not ship vehicles open (RORO: Roll On Roll Off) due to risk of damage to vehicle and theft of parts. All international purchases must be paid by bank wire transfer in US Dollar funds only.

Once we have received the funds, we will prepare the car for international shipment through one of our approved land and ocean carriers. We file all the necessary documents for export, deliver the car to a US port, secure it in containers and board an ocean carrier. We can land a vehicle to any port worldwide handling container traffic. We export cars regularly and are familiar with export requirements. You, or your agent, are responsible for Custom clearing the vehicle and registration in your own country.
