This is one of the more fun and most frightening Halloween toys/decorations I have ever seen as far as shock value is concerned. When you think clowns and nightmares this is the thing. It all starts with the crank of the handle and the playing of “Pop Goes the Weasel” - a child’s innocent voice directs you to “Come Closer”. Now that you’ve been the lulled into complacency - BANG – up pops the scary clown with flashing lights, psychotic music, maniacal laughter and two different sayings. The one that ends with “Go Run to Your Mommy” is the one that gets me. Unlike a lot of these Halloween devices – this one never loses its charm. Google the Video and you’ll see what I mean. I bet you won’t watch it only once. The box is made of tin, it has nice vintage looking graphics and a nylon body pop-up clown. These were quickly sold out when they appeared in Walgrens Drug Stores for Halloween in back in 2010. I purchased two and removed the batteries in this one prior to storing it away. It works perfectly (it has been tested) has all the original packaging and looks like it was purchased right off the shelf today. It measures approx. 6 inches tall by approx. 5 inches wide.
