Item DescriptionTo honour the 60th anniversary of this momentous event that began one of the longest reigns in British history, the Royal Australian Mint has released a commemorative $2 colour printed ‘C’ mintmark uncirculated coin with the same design as the circulating coin. This coin is the second coloured $2 coin released and is a great memento for the royal fans as well as the coloured coin collectors. The design features a stylised representation of St Edward’s Crown surrounded by circles including a pattern of purple coloured, the colour synonymous with royalty stripes.
