Adorable Gallopin' Gaucho designQueen Elizabeth II's portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley is on the obverse of the coin. She is depicted with curly hair and wearing a tiara. Inscriptions along the rim include her name, the name of the issuing country, the face value of the coin, and the date.
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dance the tango on the reverse. They look into each others eyes and bear serious expressions, as is characteristic of the dance. The image is taken from the short film for which the coin is named.
