Here is a 1920s or 1930s evening gown in an elegant art deco style, that unfortunately needs some TLC.

Made from sheer nude/peach silk - the dress (mostly half of the bodice) has torn. Please see pictures. It\'s possible that this can be mended, but I have not tried. There are also some rust/stain marks on the bottom as pictured.

The dress itself is gorgeous. It features floaty collar and sleeves, panelling around the waist that gives an hourglass shape even in this art deco style, and a skirt that beautiful flutes out - it\'s hangs so elegantly.

The dress has no tags and seems to be hand-made.

It\'s very ethereal and very Florence + The Machine. I wonder want life this dress has seen?

I originally got a hold of this dress in 2008 in London - I got it as inspiration for my bridesmaid dresses. You may use it (as I planned) to copy, or to display or (hopefully) to have mended and worn.

Size is Small to Medium with a 28\" waist (max).

There is no stretch in the silk fabric.

The dress comes with a tie sash belt in matching fabric (not pictured) - the sash belt is smaller and would suit a 26\"/25\" waist.
