Vintage 20s Dress with awesome print, amazing construction and fringe.
Features long sleeves which tie at the ends. Fringed panel of material on side at each hip with decorative buttons. Pull hip panels together in front with tie. The panel at the center chest has snap buttons to keep in place. This panel is loose at the top, and the top snap on the other side is a bit loose. This material and other of same material feels like silk. The main print material is quite strong, slippery (slides off my desk as I measure it). Not stretchy at all. Pullover style - keep this in mind that you will have to pull over your shoulders/chest when looking at measurements.
Measurements of garment: Leave room for movement/breathing, as you can see the fit on model, this looks nice with a bit of drape, not tight. 23\" underarm to underarm (46\" around bust - model has 41\" bust)
23\" across waist so 46\" around (boxy cut), 48\" hip, 17.5\" shoulder, 24\" sleeve, 45\" long.
- Model is 5\'8\" for comparison.
Condition: Trim that goes around neckline is shattering on the shoulder (photo closeup) and more minor breakage throughout this delicate trim, same issue at one cuff tie and and one of the buttons is frayed along the edge. Visible hand stitched shoulder seam.
Price reflects minor flaws (the trims could be replaced if they become more damaged) and rarity of such a dress from this era, in this size.
