This beautiful, large, one-of-a-kind handcrafted multiple-diamond 14k solid yellow gold ring is from an estate. It was custom made from a unique design in the 1960s or 1970s. It\'s in excellent condition. The total weight of the diamonds is 1.75 carats. The largest, center stone, a 1.03-carat diamond measuring 6.64 mm across, has an I1 clarity grade meaning there is a visible inclusion, which is when a tiny darker marking in the diamond can be visible to the naked eye if you look very closely (see photos). The stone is beautiful and sparkly. A tiny inclusion makes a very large stone accessible, as a flawless stone of this size would be tens of thousands of dollars. The ring is a size 8 (see photo). The ring setting area with the diamonds measures about 7/8 inch across (straight across without bending the measuring tape to follow the curve of the ring) by 5/8 inch tall. The total weight of the ring is 11.7 grams.
Here is the appraisal:One lady\'s 14-karat yellow gold and white gold diamond fashion ring, set with one round brilliant cut center diamond. The diamond measures 6.55mm x 6.64 mm x 3.91 mm with an estimated weight of 1.03 carats. It has an I1 clarity grade, an I-K color grade and is set in a (4) prong 14-karat white gold crown. There are sixteen (16) round single cut diamond melee. The diamond melee have a combined total weight of .32 carat, have an estimated SI1 clarity grade, an estimated H-I color grade and are bead and bright set. (Some diamonds have fire burns on the inside of the back from repair or mounting when it was made, not visible unless you look inside the ring). The ring also has four (4) round full cut diamond melee, prong set in the mounting, with an estimated combined total weight of .40 total, an I1 clarity grade and an I-J color grade. Value total: $9,549.
