Exceptionally Nice Clothing
This is an antique, 22 inch bisque head doll with a nice composition body. Bisque has no problems - cracks chips or such. She is made by Simon & Halbig, and has \"570\", \"Germany\", \"SIMON & HALBIG\", and \"S & H\" on the back of her head which is pictured. Her mouth is delicately painted as are her nose dots and blushing cheeks; plus she has a sweet dimple in her chin. She has finely painted eyelashes and nicely feathered brows. Her beautiful sleep eyes are of a velvety dark brown, and work well. The bisque is of extra fine quality and is finely finished. Her human hair wig has sausage curls, and is nicely suited to her appearance. There are no cracks, chips, or hairlines to the head. Her body has a bit of chipping around the neck and several cracks in the paint in back. One finger is missing on one hand. Otherwise body is in good shape, stamped with \"Heinrich Handwerck\" and Germany\". Examine pictures.
I will stuff the head with cotton balls for shipment.
She wears a cotton, woven, red and white plaid dress with a band of white at the neckline and waist decorated with feather stitching.The slightly dropped waist top has deep pleats which gather at the waist. It buttons in the back. The slip is of fine cotton trimmed with lace, so do the drawers. All of the clothing is in good condition. The drawers have an extension sewed onto the waistband, and a few small stains. She wears ribbed stockings and oilcloth type shoes that tie.
Her delicate coloring and beauty alone makes her extra special. She would be a special treat for your collection.
