The Samantha Rose Princess was designed by Joyce Reavey and manufactured by The Franklin Mint and first offered in 1991. She is 22\" tall with fine bisque porcelain head, arms, and legs on an armatured cloth body for posing and hallmarked. She has blue stationary glass eyes, vibrant facial coloring, and applied blonde wig still in the original set encased in the original hairnet.
She comes dressed in her original red and white gown of satin and organza petals which is trimmed with over 360 inches of satin ribbon and accented with hand-made white satin roses. Under her gown she wears a stiffened white tulle underslip and white pantaloons. She has bare feet and don\'t believe she ever came with shoes. Her rose is still in the original packaging.
She was only removed from the box to photograph. She comes with her box, stand, brochure, introduction letter about the doll, as well as her hang tag. There is no certificate in the box and the paper lining in torn off. She originally retailed at $295.00.
