22" Child Doll. She is not your typical dolly face doll. You don\'t come accross this mold very often.I couldn\'t find this doll or the maker in any of the latest Blue Book Doll&Values by Jan Foulke. But, in German Doll Marks and Identification Book by Jurgen&Marianne Cieslie indicated from the symbol and the marking, that Wally is manufactured by Porzellanfabrik Limbach, Germany. Unknown date. (possible earlier than 1900.)
She has no damage to her bisque head. And the wood/composition body still has original finish. There is a rebuilt pinkie finger. She has opened mouth with teeth; original glass socket eyes still have her hair lashes, dimpled chin and adorable full cheeks.

She has brown replacement human hair wig. Her original socket eyes are very nice with original waxed lids and full hair lashes. Painted lower lashes with feather strokes eyebrows.
Again, there is no chip, crack or damage to the bisque.
I made for her a cotton dress with matching hat. I decided on the style and the fabric based on her gentle features and hair style. She has new shoes and no socks. You might want to give her a pair of socks when the weather is colder.
I paid a very high price for her back then. As a collector of sought-after rare dolls, a must to complete my curiousity. After all, the quality of the bisque on this doll is just like what you found on the typical dolly face child dolls. And the quality of the body is about the same as a Simon&Halbig doll. What makes her more valuable is her rareness and the name at the back of the head WALLY.
For dolly face doll collectors, this one is your conversation piece. I bet not too many of your collector friends have the same mold.

For out of the country shipping,I ship packages using Standard International only if it is a small package of less than 4 lbs. Larger packages go by priority mail and EMS (Global Express)
Attention: For International buyers, I am happy to sell to buyers outside of the USA, but I am not responsible for the high risk of damage from long trip. Besides, for some countries, the insurance only covers loss, not damage. You will have to understand that\'s why most sellers do not want to deal with non-USA shipping. Most of my items are antique or vintage so keep in mind that they are not in new/unused condition. Excellent condition in this case means compared with others of the same age.
