I am pleased to offer you thislovely German bisque shoulder headdollwith her puppy dog. Incised on the back of hershoulder plate is\"370, AM 4 DEP, Armand Marseille, Made in Germany\".Reference attributes to German maker Armand Marseille, 1880s to 1930.DEP is a registered trade mark or claim used by both the French and German makers.Hand written paper with this doll says Original clothing and leather shoes (slip, pantaloons and shoes are original), I do not know her pasthistory but will try to describe this doll with any flaws the best I can. Measures just under 24\" tall beinga bisqueshoulder head, bisque hands from elbows down with on kid leather body. Finger on the right hand is chipped at the tip, the thumb on the left hand is chipped off at the tip.Body shows some wear & sewing restorationbut isall intact. There are no cracks on this shoulder head, I do see where material was sewn around this shoulder plate as you often see. This doll hasa absolutely \"beautiful\" Dolly Facewith open and close blue glass sleepy eyes, wax is worn on the eye lids, painted lashes around the eyes,red accent dots in the corner of her eyes and nostrils, brown feathered brows and open mouth with upper teeth intact. Lovely blush on her very \"near perfect\" little face with a faint dimple in her chin. I flashed inside her head and see no cracks or hairlines. Her originallight brunette human hair wig with bangs is glued on a pate thatsets nicelyover her head.It shows some wear but is a charming old wig. Dark blue dress with off white trim is in nice condition, only safety pin closure down the back, her antique slip, pantaloons, stockings and kid leather shoes are in wonderful condition.There is a full body under garment under the slip and pantaloons.Hand written of the pantaloons is what looks like \"Gift of Ida Bennett\", see photo #6).I have taken plenty of photos.
