DESCRIPTION:
UP FOR ADOPTION here is a lovely old 1930s+ composition and cloth Mama doll. Unmarked as many were reference shows similar dolls made in the 1920s to 1940s. I do not know her past history, but will try to describe this doll the best I can. Measures 23\" tall being a composition head that turns with shoulder plate, composition hands with all fingers intact, composition legs with cloth mama doll body. There is a \"some-what\" working crier in her upper back. Some wear, line crazing throughout the composition areas but no serious cracks or splits. Cloth body looks clean, a little sewing restoration at the left shoulder area done nicely. Beautiful face with open and close \"golden\" sleepy eyes that work fine. She retains her upper human hair lashes on the eye lids, no painted lashes around the eyes, single stroke brown brows and open mouth with full upper teeth. Her original strawberry blonde mohair wig is secure on her head with some loose curls, a little \"thin\" at the back, see photos. Wears original yellow dress with off white embroidery accents, it is clean with buttons down the back. Her straw hat with flowers accents her dress. She wears full slip, panties. stockings and yellow shoes. I believe most of her clothing if not all to be original. This \"adorable\" old doll would be a treasure for collection or display!
