There is some wear to the art, some chipping to the edges and a little paint loss an a few. There is toning because of age.The smaller ones are all on paper and they were a long time ago attached to the blue boards and were a scrapbook type of paper. The larger ones on the bottom are on canvases. This is what I know about Watie Carey. She was born 1895-6 (I think in Grafton town in Worcestor Mass. was married at the age of 22 and moved to Foxborough and Norfolk, Mass. from about 1930s to 1940 and worked in the hospital there. She eventually moved to Maine and died in 1975 in Jefferson, Lincoln, MaineIf any one has any further information that they want to share that would be great. I do believe this is what she was seeing at the time of the paintings The village looks to have been different houses and the boat in the harbor makes it the ocean I do believe.
