DESCRIPTION:

We are pleased to offer you this \"beautiful\" German bisque head doll. Incised on the back of her bisque head is \"CM Bergmann, Simon & Halbig, S & H\". Reference attributes to German maker CM Bergmann1890+, with the bisque head made by Simon & Halbig. She measures 24\" tall being a bisque socket head on strung, composition wood doll body. Body shows\"re-paint\", some overall wear, for being 100 or so years old, but a good German body.Doll is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, legs and knees with all fingers intact. Some composition crackling around the neck line of the body. Doll has a beautiful face with open and close brown glass sleepy eyes that work fine, retains some of her upper hair eye lashes, painted lashes around the eyes, feathered brown brows, she has open mouth with upper teeth and beautiful coloring on her \"near perfect\" face. Inside the head is plaster cement that was used to secure the eyes remain open all the time. I flashed inside her head and do not see any cracks or hairlines. Wears replacement long blonde wig that slips over a pate on her head. She wears a vintage lavender dress embroidery trim, it is lovely with buttons down the back. She wears slip, stockings and shoes.
