DESCRIPTION:
I am pleased to offer you thislovely oldbisque head German doll.Incised on the back of her bisque head is the \"Germany 275-3/0\". I do not know her past history but will try to describe the best I can.Reference tells me Ernst Heubach made these dolls 1886 to 1930 in Koppelsdorf, Germany. She measures just under 24\"tall being bisque shoulder head,composition hands with fingers intact, outlined in red for that life-like appearance, with kid leather body, being metal clip jointed at the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. The lower legs are a nice vintage leather replacement. Body is old with minor wear, a few pieces of reinforcement leather at the shoulders but in nice condition. Shoulderhead is all intact I see no cracks or hairlines when I flashed her head. She has a \"sweet\"Dolly face with open and closeblue glass sleepy eyes that work fine, long upper black lashes intact, painted black lashes around the eyes, brown brows, she has open mouth with upper teeth, there is a faint little dimple in the chin and wonderful blush color on her \"near\" perfect face. She wears a long brunette wig with bangs and locks of curls that slips over a pate on her head, a gold hair clip on each side. She wears antique off white dress with embroidery accents that snaps down the back, light discoloration for being 100 or so years old but charming. She wears a light golden in color older vintage faux fur, stockings and black boots. I have taken plenty of photos. Please look at my photos they will serve as part of this description.
