This is a collection of 25 antique stamped copper angels / cherubs / puttis.

I would estimate they date from about the turn of the century, circa 1900. They have a beautiful Art Nouveau feeling about them.

They each measure a touch under 1 1/2 inches long (3.8 cm).

I\'m not sure where these were actually used. They would be great for making jewelry, for clocks, boxes or furniture.

They are referred to by a number of terms: adornments, embellishments, trim mounts, findings, medallions or ornaments.

They are made of copper and are very hard and sturdy.

They each have varying degrees of tarnish and are each a little lighter or darker than the other. Some have spots of green tarnishing. They\'ve developed a wonderful old patina.
