Wonderful and quality old hand made Canadian 50 cent pieces decorated ladies waist belt. It has 25 Canadian coins from 1917-1929 with some being duplicates. The belt is 30 1/2\" long and it looks like it would work for a ladies waist of 24-26 inches (give or take 1\")as the buckle is 1 1/2\" and the end with 3 attachment points is from 1/2\" to 3\" long. The belt is well made. The coins are all Canadian sterling silver as they are pre 1964. The belt metal is unknown to me and I do not have a sterling tester or liquids needed to test itbut a magnet does not adhere to it. No damage but there is light overall wear from age as would be expected. I find on markings other than those on the Canadian coins. This belt came to mefrom the estate of a lady doctor recently. The weight of the belt is 310 grams and again...I only know the coins are silver and I do not know or even think the other metal is sterling silver so please offer accordingly. Its a great item and certainly one you would have a hard time finding again.
