DESCRIPTION:

This Listing is for a \"lovely\" antique German \"Queen Louise\" doll. Incised at the back of her bisque head is \"30,Germany, Queen Louise, 9\". Reference attributes to 1890+ Germany, by Armand Marseille doll maker. \"Louise\" measures just under 26\" tall being a bisque socket head on wooden composition jointed body. Body shows overall wear, some scuffs & line crazing but together intact. I had \"Queen Louise\" re-strung and she displays great sitting or standing with a doll stand. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, legs and knees with all fingers and toes intact. She has a \"sweet\" face with \"Fixed Open\" brown individual eyes, painted straight lower eye lashes, brown brush stroked eye brows, open mouth with upper teeth, there is a little \"dimple\" in her chin. Rose color blush on her beautiful face. I flashed inside the head and do not see any cracks or hairlines. Her long auburn brown wig has a label that says \"Global\" a replacement fiber wig that slips nicely over a pate on her head. \"Louise\" wears a pink dress with lace trim with safety pin closure down the back, it is clean and in nice condition, there is a half slip, panties, stockings and shoes. There is a necklace around her neck with a \"Crown\" pendant. I have taken plenty of photos, please look at my photos they will serve as part of this description.
