We recently purchased the entire run of cachets produced by Ken Kribbs during 20 plus years as a cachetmaker. From "The Artist's Private Collection" - cover No. 1! Every one of the cachets is guaranteed to be the number one that was produced for the given stamp issue. This is an amazing offer for collectors of First Day Covers. The opportunity to own a cover that is the first! Take a look through your collection and you may be surprised to find that you have never had the opportunity to acquire one.
Generally the number one is never sold, but is retained for the artist and his family. Anyone who purchases one of these special cachets will know that it is a unique item, something that no other collector will own.
Ken Kribbs began his career as a cachet artist in 1978 by hand-drawing then hand-painting each one individually. After several years his wife Angie was trained as an artist and then trusted with the painting of each one.
