This is a 29\" Rams Horn (Shofar) that is in good condition. The colors are greenish-brownish and are mingled together. The Shofar is what is used to welcome in the new \"Jewish\" new year. This one makes a very nice sound (trumpet) but you have to have the lungs to blow it.The small (blowing) end has a few scratches around it and the larger end is rough--whether it\'s chipped some or that\'s the way it came off the ram. (see photos)This horn (one like it of course) was instrumental in bringing down the wall of Jericho.\"Then the LORD said to Joshua… March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams\' horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have all the people give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the people will go up, every man straight in.
