Product Description
A fine and impressive vintage 3.50 carat diamond, opal, ruby and sapphire, 18 carat white gold butterfly brooch; part of our diverse vintage jewellery and estate jewelry collections.
This impressive vintage brooch has been crafted in 18ct white gold in the form of a butterfly.
The pierced decorated wings are embellished with a feature collet set round cut ruby and Old European round cut diamonds of various sizes.
The body of the butterfly is ornamented with a cabochon opal and the abdomen set with transitional modern features a round cut natural sapphire.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin with push fit safety catch.
This fine vintage gemstone and diamond butterfly brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
This brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 ct white gold.
PLEASE NOTE: The Old European cut diamonds and gemstones displayed in this brooch are circa 1900. It was common practice in the 1940\'s to amalgamate older diamonds and gemstones in such pieces.
Condition
This impressive brooch is fine quality, set with very high colour graded diamonds and natural gemstones. The brooch is in excellent condition.
