- For sale is this lot of 3 antique 1/6 plate daguerreotype photographs that include 2 women and 1 man, with 2 photo\'s showing very well overall with nice details. They are all the 1/6th plate measuring 3.25\" by 2.75\" for the main area, not the case.
- One lady has a very nice gold frame that displays excellent, photo has nice details showing some added color, great face and hair details, has some spots or droplet like marks which are probably as issued or processed, typical spotting but remains sound. Wood case is rough but could be repaired as has both the latch and hook in place.
- The man photo also has a nice gold tin frame, face has excellent details, most of the viewing area is very good, some typical spots but really nice looking picture. Wood case has a lot of wear and hinge split, but still has the hooks and latches.
Last lady photograph has no wood case, face has some added color, good clarity at certain angles, has some cloudiness along with dust buildup, along with some dark spotting in upper left.
