3 Antique 18C/19C Thai Buddhas Rattanakosin Gilt Gold Lacquered Bronze Statues:

Up for sale is a set of 3 antique Thai Buddha statues. Pieces date to the Rattanakosin period sometime around the 18th or 19th century. Wear is appropriate for age.

The first Buddha is depicted seated with legs crossed on a two-tiered throne and hands in the Dhyana Mudra position. Piece measures 4 1/4 inches tall. Base measures 2 1/8 by 1 1/8 inches. Piece is bronze, clay filled, and appears to be lacquered and gilded. Piece has chips to the paint.

The second Buddha is depicted seated with legs crossed on a three-tiered throne and hands in the Dhyana Mudra position. Piece measures 5 3/8 inches tall. Base measures 3 by 1 3/8 inches. Piece is bronze, clay filled, and appears to be lacquered and gilded with fine details throughout. Piece has a crack and chips to the paint.

The third Buddha is depicted seated with legs crossed on a three-tiered throne and hands in the Dhyana Mudra position. Piece measures 6 inches tall. Base measures 3 7/8 by 1 5/8 inches. Piece is bronze, clay filled, and appears to be lacquered and gilded. Piece has chips to the paint. It appears to have an iron/bronze fixture on the reverse side.
