Antique Charles Field Haviland Limoges Hand Painted Porcelain 3 Piece Tea Set. The tea set includes a tea pot, large sugar bowl, and under plate. The white ground pieces are decorated with a hand painted design with touches of enamel. The pattern features bouquets of pink daisies. The handles have a raised leaf shape at the base and top. The tops of the handles fan out in two parts. Off each part are raised porcelain leaf stems that drape to the sides. (I will add a better photo showing the handle). The covers also have the raised leaf design. The tea pot spout has a large leaf shape at the base of the spout. The pieces are trimmed with gilt. Each piece is marked, \"CFH, GDM, CH. FIELD HAVILAND LIMOGES\". This mark dates the set 1882 - 1890. The tea pot and sugar bowl also have an impressed mark.SIZE: Tea Pot is 8 3/4 inches high x 10 inches wide from edge of handle to tip of spout. Sugar Bowl is 7 1/4 inches high x 7 1/2 inches wide from edge of handle to edge of handle. The plate is 9 1/2 inches wide.CONDITION: The pieces have slight wear. The sugar bowl cover has a repaired crack with an interior chip. The bottom rim of the sugar bowl shows some wear or a slightly dark color. The plate has a tiny rim chip. The inner rim on the bottom of plate has a tiny nick. The tea pot cover has a rim chip. All the pieces are very clean and bright -- they show little if any use.Great old tea set.
