I am pleased to offer for your consideration a 3-piece, Gorham, Sterling Silver (925) Silver Coffee, Tea, and Sugar Bowl Set in the Plymouth pattern. Each piece is marked Sterling and has the 3 vintage Gorham Hallmarks. This pattern was initially introduced in 1911. Both the coffee pot and tea pot have reinforced handles. The sugar bowl has a removable lid and each is marked Sterling.
The coffee pot weighs approximately 765 grams and measures 10 1/2\" (W) x 9 3/4\" (H). It is marked with the pattern number 2441 and holds 2 3/8 pints. Additionally it is marked on the bottom with the number 4 circumscribed with a hexagon.
The tea pot weighs approximately 650 grams and measures 11 3/4\" (W) x 6 3/4\" (H). It is marked on the bottom with the pattern number 2442 and holds 2 pints.And the sugar bowl with lid weigh approximately 410 grams and measures 8\" (W) x 5 3/4\" (H). It is marked on the bottom with the pattern number 2443.
In all, this set totals approximately 1825 grams (64 ounces) and has not been monogrammed/engraved.
The overall condition of this set is good but there are some imperfections.
The coffee pot lid\'s circumferential edge is not perfectly smooth. There are numerous small indentations on the body, and the bottom of the pot (foot) does not sit level (wobbling).
The tea pot has a dent (measuring approximately 1/2\" x 1/2\" on it\'s side, a 1/4\" gouge on the top near the handle, as well as a bent finial. The oval foot has a slight bend along it\'s circumference.
The sugar bowl has approximately 5-6 pinhead-sized dings from the inside out, and a 1/2\" dent from the inside near the handle.
There are surface scratches which are age appropriate. There is on this lot. If you have any questions, please ask them prior to offerding. Insurance will be included. Good luck to the winning buyer.
