I must first of all say that the oldest leaf has a beautiful hand-drawn illustration of a yellow bull, with green leaves and blue berries, as well as a pink tree on the right.

There are three separate manuscript leaves, all with the distinctive Tibetan Buddhist script.I cannot be certain of the date, but I would estimate the first leaf as late 18th century (see the first two scanned image); and I would guess that the second and third leaves are from the middle to late 19th century. They are antique beautiful Buddhist handwritten manuscript leaves from Tibet (the homeland of the Dalai Lama), containing the Sutra or the canonical scriptures, which are the records or interpretations of the oral teachings of Gautama Buddha. The three handwritten manuscript leaves are 8 in. long, 11 1/2 in. long, and 8 1/2 in. long. The symbol at the top of the first line, which looks like two backwards \"c\" with a vertical stroke on the right--this symbol indicates the beginning of a new Sutra (see the three scanned images).
