The thing about Beistle, is they found a good thing, and then stayed with it, making some of their same designs year after year! The popular ones would keep coming back! These peeps were really popular First introduced in the 1960\'s, they made them all the way through the 1980\'s (and maybe beyond, but I am not sure). Anyway, they are really cute - they are little printed cardboard chicks that fold over, with a paper tab that connects the feet. There is a little feather for the tail. They stand well, and display well. They were sold 3 to a sheet. This listing is for an original cardboard backing that has 3 of the peeps that are coming loose from the backing. The top one, the yellow one, has a crease at it\'s foot, only noticeable when it\'s in the package. The feathers are all a bit sparse, as happens to the older pieces. The honeycomb tissue paper is bright and clean, and they display really well. The packaging had a split at the top; I repaired it by adding a piece of white acid free card stock to the top to hold it in place. There are two creases along one side on the backing, as well, but they don\'t really show. The set is in good vintage condition - age related flaws. The peeps stand about 4\" long each, not including the tails. I have quite a few of the peeps with no backing for sale in another listing. JONESANTIQUES! JONESANTIQUES!
