Up for sale is a set of 3 hand painted Japanese Takahashi plates sold in San Francisco featuring embossed scenes of happy children playing under an orange blossom branch. The plates are 8\" in diameter. As you can see 2 have the children in the same colored clothing and the other has changed the colors. There are just a few minor flaws that are hard to spot. The tip of the nose on one child on the right has a rough spot as it is the highest spot on the plate--likely from stacking. And on that plate and one other there are a couple flakes in some orange blossoms. One plate is in excellent condition. Again, these little spots I didn\'t notice until I studied the plates to put them on --very minor and the plates are lovely. I purchased these at an estate sale and am uncertain of their age.
