RARE ORIGINAL WOOD SALES BOX, HOLDS THREE ORIGINAL PERIOD SAD IRONS MOSTLY NEW OR NEARLY NEW SLIGHTLY USED. GREAT DISPLAY WORK.How rare is it to have three SAD IRONS with original handle in the original wood box they were sold in. Two generations ago great gram collected Sad irons and found this item, hard to find even then, and passed it on to her daughter. Now we have them and we think they need to belong to another collector of Sad Irons and be loved.Pictures tell it all. Box is solid with storage use related to age but in amazing condition. Measures about 12 x 4 x 8 (not exact). Graphic is perfect. Lettering is right style for the age. Irons do not appear to have been used but please judge for yourself. We would best guess the age around 1880 but you collectors will know what it is.We guess this weighs about 25 pounds. We will ship USPS to your door well packaged to protect the box. Sad Irons will be taken out of the box to ship and protect the box.Always enjoy questions and comments.
