This sale is for three beautiful full grain leather hides.They are a rich medium shade of brown with a high quality finish. The leather is thin, very smooth and very flexible/bendable. It has an attractive natural grain.
Some edges of these hides may feel a little dry, but the leather is still very durable and does not rip (it is quite sturdy for being so thin).
This leather was stored in a bundle, so the neck end of the hides will have some creases from being folded inside the bundle. The smaller of the three hides is affected most by this. There is still a lot of good cutting space on each of these hides, though there will be spots or imperfections that need to be cut around, which is standard for leather.These hides drape very well.The sizes of the hides are 10.5, 13, and 16.5 square feet (measured and marked by the tannery). As you may be able to see in the photos with the measuring tapes, the dimensions of the hides are close to 32 x 70, 35 x 72, and 32 x 60 inches at the widest and longest parts.The weight of the hides (thickness) is approximately 2 to 3 oz or 0.8 to 1mm.All of our leather hides came from a leather house that had the largest leather inventory in the country when they went out of business a couple of years ago. We have hundreds of miscellaneous/assorted hides that we will be selling over the next several months.
