Up for sale is a pair of Chanel sunglasses style code is 5171. This style no is/ and is one of the prettiest styles Chanel has ever designed in my personal opinion. This style is hard to find as it forms part of a past collection which is not currently available. These glasses are 100% authentic and genuine, they come complete with their quilted case which has a CC on one side, chanel internal booklet and guarantee card and outer packaging box ( as you can see on its outer box there is the luxottica group name, this also authenticates that these are authentic Chanel sunglasses). these sunglasses are so chic, luxurious and so feminine!
Just under the frame on the lens there is Chanel etched discreetly ( this is one of the ways to determine that this is an authentic chanel sunglasses) and on the side a delicate white bow dresses these sunglasses, on this bow there is a CC please see images. These glasses are in excellent barely worn condition but have a defect that one of the sides has come apart from the frame and the bow which was on top has come apart ( as this was screwed on), hence why I am selling these sunglasses for such a low price.
I purchased these sunglasses from the chanel boutique in Rome a while ago as a backup pair for the ones I had at the time but only wore these glasses for the first time 4 months ago and these sunglasses where my daily pair of sunnies for a total of 4 months, however, unfortunately 2 weeks ago as I went to wear these glasses and took them out of their case , one of the sides came apart from the rest of the sunglasses, I don\'t think re- screwing is possible and I do not take responsibility if it is not possible to repair these glasses with a screw, as I am stating that I don\'t believe it would be possible to re-screw it back.
I think the only way to repair these sunglasses is to glue the part ( side please see pictures) which came off came apart and its bow on top . If I was going to keep these sunnies I was going to glue them with a silicone glue gun. If you were to repair them this way Im sure the repair won\'t be noticeable as the white bow would cover it and only a tiny bit of glue would be needed anyway.
This is the way I was going to repair these sunglasses if I wasn\'t going to sell them, I am selling them as I just purchased a new pair to replace these. Apart from this defect these sunglasses are in excellent barely worn condition,the lenses are in excellent condition, these sunnies were always protected and stored in their case when not in use. I have also sanitised these sunglasses before putting them for sale. It\'s very rare that one sees on pre-owned sunglasses in such a good condition especially the lenses.
