30s VINTAGE LUXE JET BLACK SILK VELVET DRESS WITH RUCHING AND ART DECO BELT BUCKLE, L-XL

DESCRIPTION: Gorgeous dress in a jet black luxurious silk velvet with ruching at shoulders, elbows and below bust. Pintuck seaming at front yoke. Angled \'v\' neckline piped in gold trim echos the gold on the metal art deco era belt buckle. The belt is made of the silk velvet. Side metal zipper and shoulder pads. Beautifully made, figure flattering dress. Probably late 30s from material, styling and the belt buckle, though the zipper and shoulder pads are more early 40s. In a rare larger size. Shown on size small dress form. Some photos lightened to show detail.
