White peacocks have been kept at the Netherlands\' StaverdenCastle since the year 1400 when the Duke of Gueire lent his lavish forest homeonly under the condition that it still keeps white peacocks to provide feathersfor his helmet. The peacock feathers are now presented annually to theCommissioner of the Queen in Gelderland. Sculpted atop a gloriously arched urn,our exclusive still-proud peacock statue was sculpted almost a yard high andcast in quality designer resin in an antique stone finish.
