For sale is an exceptional piece of civil war history. The stars are hand embroidered in a very rare great star pattern with two sizes of stars throughout the field. The rest of the Flag is machine and hand sewn silk. Possible cavalry use. From a closed museum collection with 86.2.43 tagged on the back. Frame is 39x31” Flag is 33x24”. Not exact due to losses.
