Welcome to Allegheny Mountain Walking Sticks!Allegheny Mountain Walking Sticks and Canes are hand carved in Pennsylvania from Pennsylvania Wood from the Ironwood family. This is one of our new walking canes. It is 37\" in length and is stained with Red Oak stain.The circumference at the top of the stick is 3.5\" and it tapers to 3\" at the bottom.The handle is 7\" long and its circumference is 3.5\".The cane is finished in a satin polyurethane finish. The bottom end is coated with a liquid rubber that hardens for protection. Sticks are naturally dried for a period of time. Then they are carved by hand, sanded and allowed to dry longer so they dry naturally. All of our sticks and canes are unique and the pictures really don\'t show the full beauty of each.We don\'t know the exact strength but we test each stick with a lot of force, and they are strong!
