Beautiful 1984 Royal Hunt Tapestry soldexclusively by The Franklin Mint. It is acontemporary masterpiece created in the tradition of the shilled Renassance weavers of cotton and wool fabric. Depicting The Royal Hunt, it captures thesplendor and romance of the regal pastime of patrician ladies and aristocraticgentlemen of the 16th century. The Royal Hunt Tapestry, with it\'s carefully blended antique colors, portrays royal lords andladieselaborately costumed in height of Medieval fashion, with falcons, noble steeds and hounds ready for thechasing in the distance, amagnificently detailed castle. An original work on the grand scale of tapestries of the Renaissance. The tapestry is created from both weft of wool and warp of wool a material which accepts and holds natural dyes particularly well, retains its beauty through many lifetimes providing a luxurious nap and texture .
