Beautiful old hand embroidered and cut work linen Cheval set.
Item - Cheval / duchess set, one large oval and two smaller rounds
Size approx - 17 x 11 ½ inches - 7 inches
Fabric - Cotton / linen
Hem - Hand satin stitched scalloped edge.
Shape - Oval and round
Linen Colour - Pale minty green
Embroidery Colour - with white embroidery
Subject - Embroidered flowers with cut work petals.
Condition - Very good vintage condition, unused, it is not in any packaging although the original sticky label is still attached, no holes, tears or damage to the fabric or embroidery, the set has been carelessly stored and does have storage marks and dots of foxing.
This is a delightful 3 piece set of vintage hand embroidery in an unusual colour which is very light & breezy and very pretty.
