Attractively priced 3in CS Broun shell. This one almost threw its sabot like most of these do when fired. I cannot recall seeing one with an intact sabot and good rifling. This was recovered near Petersburg, VA on private property with permission. It has been run through electrolysis and coated for preservation so it won\'t fall apart like uncleaned ones could. By this time in the war, the iron the Confederacy was using was low grade.
This is a really nice shell for the money.
