4.5\" Pink Agate and Quartz polished standup display stone from Brazil. This geode display piece has been cut and polished in front for a smooth finish and cut flat on the bottom, allowing the piece to stand on its own nicely. Features amazing bands and patterns of Agate with bright pink coloration with an open vug lined with Quartz crystallization. While the geode is natural mined material and the banding and patterns are all natural, the material is dyed to create the pink colors by soaking in an iron-nitrate mineral solution. The coloration seeps into the banded layers of Agate in different amounts depending on the purity of the crystal in that layer, resulting in the magnificent banded color layers. Weighs over 2 3/4 lbs. A beautiful Agate geode polished stone perfect for display.
