Limoges ~Set of 4~ Four-Well Oyster Plates from Haviland & Co. Circa 1880s, Made in FranceRare design, square plates with scalloped corners and gold rims.Background color of each plate is a different shade of creamy yellow. Oyster wells have accents of brown and pink.
Fine porcelainMakers mark on the bottom of each plate: Haviland & Co. DEPOSE Each plate measures: 8\" square, 1\" rim height
Very good antique condition, very well preserved.Background color of each plate is a different shade of creamy yellow. Slight gold loss at gold rims. Slight wear to the paint around oyster wells. One pinprick hole at corner of one plate from firing process. One plate has a small chip on bottom rim. See all photos for more detail.
